Due to a fire underneath the 138th Street Bridge, which carries all four Metro-North tracks, train service into and out of Grand Central Station has been temporarily shut down. Officials think a wooden pier below the bridge caught fire about an hour ago. No injuries were reported. [City Room/NYT]
