New York Times Company Expects Third-Quarter Loss

New York Times Company president Janet Robinson predicted yesterday at the Goldman Sachs media conference that earnings from continuing operations are expected to show a loss of 5 to 7 cents a share, and that the overall decline in revenue would be around 2 to 3 percent.
