Who’s your favorite New Yorker, living or dead, real or fictional?
Carrie Bradshaw or Mickey Rooney. When I was 15 I thought I was [Carrie] reincarnated. And I just love Mickey Rooney! Who doesn’t? He’s so tiny and cute.

What’s the best meal you’ve eaten in New York?
Lasagne at Via Della Pace. The owners are from Rome, so all of the items on the menu are their mom’s recipe.

In one sentence, what do you actually do all day in your job?
Laugh.

What was your first job in New York?
I was in a movie called Private Parts. I played [Howard Stern’s] daughter at the very end of the movie.

What’s the last thing you saw on Broadway?
A Behanding in Spokane, with Christopher Walken, Anthony Mackie, Sam Rockwell, and Zoe Kazan. It was amazing. I laughed so hard.

Do you give money to panhandlers?
It really depends. If they really look like they’re having a hard time, then yes. But I’ve seen so many people in the East Village pretend they’re missing a leg and then they pull it out of nowhere and walk away with all the money they got during the day. So it really depends. I usually give money to talented-musician panhandlers.

What’s your drink?
Arnold Palmer.

How often do you prepare your own meals?
Not often enough. I can make guacamole and I can make a bean burrito. I can kind of make cereal and I can make a sandwich, but making a good steak or good chicken is just awful. It goes wrong, I set things on fire.

What’s your favorite medication?
Advil.

What’s hanging above your sofa?
Nothing. We recently moved into a new house and haven’t really done much. The tags are still on my couches.

How much is too much to spend on a haircut?
Over $100. Why? It’s hair.

When’s bedtime?
When I fall asleep. I have such a weird sleeping schedule and when I sleep, I sleep. I’m out for good. So when I have a 6:30 a.m. call time and it’s 2 a.m. or 3 a.m. and I can’t fall asleep I just end up staying up, watching a movie, going to work, and coming home and sleeping.

Which do you prefer, the old Times Square or the new Times Square?
The old Times Square, as in early aughts … I don’t like these new chairs in the middle of the street everywhere.

What do you think of Donald Trump?
I think he’s funny. He’s Donald Trump. Do you really take him seriously? I just think he’s a really interesting person to observe.

What do you hate most about living in New York?
Waiting for the subway when you’re late.

Who is your mortal enemy?
Time.

When’s the last time you drove a car?
Today.

How has the Wall Street crash affected you?
It probably has affected me in certain ways, but I haven’t noticed.

What makes someone a New Yorker?
My mom is a New Yorker but she’s from Missouri and Nebraska. I’m a New Yorker because I was born and raised there. It’s all in the attitude and the way you handle things.
