Well, Rahm Emanuel has already proven he’d be a relatively blog-friendly mayor, officially announcing his run for mayor of Chicago via YouTube and his website in an easily embedded video. With his patented no-bullshit nature, Emanuel said, “Every person has a role to play in building [Chicago’s] future. I’m going to spend the next few weeks visiting our neighborhoods … I’m calling this the ‘Tell It Like It Is’ Tour. Because I want to hear from you, in blunt Chicago terms.” He also tapped Scott Fairchild, the chief of staff for Pennsylvania Representative Patrick Murphy, to be his campaign manager.
