The Internet: Not Destroying Human Interaction!

Remember how Twitter is changing the way we communicate as people? The Times has a dispatch from the office building in San Francisco where Twitter is located, and it’s filled with start-ups that strategically snagged office space to be physically close to the world’s next enormous thing.

The founder of Klout, which helps marketers reach people on Twitter, has successfully made friends with the budding behemoth’s CEO, and he saw Kanye West once. Another guy, who founded “workplace collaboration software,” the kind of thing that is supposed to make the office a relic of the past, moved to the building in July. “[Twitter’s presence] adds to the credibility of the address when you have people coming to see you,” he said. Apparently the web really does bring people together.
