State Senate’s Hothead-in-Chief Guilty of Misdemeanor

Kevin Parker, a Democratic state senator from Brooklyn who publicly loses his temper as often as most people lose their keys, has been found guilty on two misdemeanor counts of criminal mischief for damaging a New York Post photographer’s camera during a May 2009 confrontation. Parker was found not guilty of felony assault charges, though, and will not face automatic expulsion. He will face up to two years in prison, but come on, we all know he’s not getting that.
