Eric Cantor: ‘It’s Not Nice to Call Anyone Crazy’

When House Majority Leader Eric Cantor appeared on Meet the Press today, he, thankfully, said he believes that President Barack Obama is a U.S. citizen and that his place of birth should not even be a subject for debate: “I think the President is a citizen of the United States. I don’t think it is an issue that needs to be on the policy-making table.” But when Meet the Press’s David Gregory asked if claims that Obama isn’t a citizen are “crazy,” Cantor was less forward: “Why is it that you want me to go and engage in name-calling? It is not nice to call anyone crazy.” Well, as long as he’s maintaining good manners.
