See? We told you. Last week, when beach photographs surfaced appearing to depict Stephanie Seymour and her 18-year-old son, Peter Brant Jr., in the midst of some sort of amorous clutch, we guessed that “it was probably a perfectly natural moment.” (Though at first glance the pictures are a bit startling.) Today, the young (and seemingly kind of awesome) Brant fires back at anyone who raised an eyebrow. “These pictures have been taken completely out of context, my mother and i are very close as she is with all her children,” he wrote on Facebook. “She often hugs and kisses me and my siblings in an manner that is intimate, any mother in the world does the same.” Also, he’s GAY, duh. “At my age my mother and I are almost like friends and I feel open to talk to her about anything,” he added. “And yes our relationship may be different because of my sexuality.” Heard that! How many straight sons have ever saved their mothers from Talbots and bad lighting? (Not that supermodel Stephanie Seymour would ever be caught dead in either.)
