Lindsay Lohan will be charged with felony grand theft in the case of the missing $2,500 necklace, according to TMZ. The Los Angeles boutique from which it was allegedly stolen has surveillance video of Lohan trying on the necklace and paparazzi images of her wearing it without having purchased it. Police obtained a search warrant to search Lohan’s home on February 1, but the jewelry was then returned to police by Lohan’s stylist. The actress claims the necklace was loaned to her by the boutique and that her stylist was responsible for returning it on time. If charged and convicted, Lohan could technically face a maximum sentence of three years in prison. But it was such a cute necklace. [NYP, TMZ]
