When “Page Six” first reported that Marc Mezvinsky was taking a few months off of work at his hedge fund to go be a ski bum in Jackson Hole, we couldn’t quite figure out why they cared. Sure, it might hint at marital strife between him and Chelsea Clinton, his wife of barely six months. But still — slim pickings for a story, right? Now we realize, “Page Six” honestly believes that Marc and Chelsea do everything they do for the column’s benefit.
Just a week after Page Six revealed that Mezvinsky left his job at hedge fund 3G Capital to be a ski bum in Wyoming, the banker hurtled back to New York to see and be seen with his wife of six months … After our story ran on Jan. 31, others speculated that Mezvinsky and Clinton’s marriage was on the rocks. But, maybe to quash the buzz, Mezvinsky made a quick return to town to be reunited with his wife. The pair were photographed leaving spin studio Soul Cycle in Union Square on Saturday morning
Man, poor Chelsea Clinton. She managed to nonchalantly shrug off the awful scrutiny of the entire media world for nearly twenty years, and now she has to go performing this pantomime so “Page Six” won’t write a couple of innuendo-laden paragraphs about her. Rough world.
