Remember when Rahm Emanuel offered to donate $5,000 to charity for information about the guy who was fake tweeting as @MayorEmanuel? He’s been unmasked! And it’s Punk Planet founder and Columbia College professor Dan Sinker. “I remember I was at home. I think everyone had gone to bed. And I remembered, ‘Oh, I have that account. This might be kind of funny,’” explained Sinker of the account’s origins. “I was never really making fun of the guy. I was making fun with the guy.” As for that $5k reward? Emanuel says he’s still willing to donate to Sinker’s charity of choice.
