As a parent, you worry your kid is going to try it sometime. But not when he’s 9. A fourth grader has been charged with drug possession after showing up at his Washington, D.C., school yesterday with cocaine — which he generously but misguidedly shared. Four of his peers “either sniffed or swallowed” the stuff, says ABC, “but they were fine aside from sore throats.” Today was a school holiday (conveniently enough) and on Monday the kids will learn about “the dangers of drugs.” [ABC News]
