At 3 p.m. today, former Minnesota governor Tim Pawlenty will become just the second candidate (along with Herman Cain) to officially announce the formation of a presidential exploratory committee, but he will be the first to do so via a message on his Facebook page. According to CBS News, “Only those who have elected to ‘like’ Pawlenty on Facebook will have access to the message,” so hopefully Pawlenty’s mom will be kind enough to forward it on to everyone else.
