The topic of a food ban was raised at an MTA board meeting last night, no doubt spurred by the epic spaghetti-brawl video from last week. Some MTA members, reportedly, believe that banning food would not only make the subways cleaner but also reduce track fires and the presence of rats. Although, to be fair, some rats are just there for the commute. [NYDN]
