Donald Trump Thinks His Is ‘Much, Much Bigger’ Than Romney’s

As one might expect from someone who inflates the number of stories in his skyscrapers, Donald Trump appears to have a size complex. On CNN’s State of the Union yesterday, Trump’s assured host Candy Crowley that if voters wanted a man with sizable … net worth, they needn’t look any further. To give Candy some idea of what the American people might soon be dealing with, he compared his assets to a fellow GOP contender:

[I’m] much bigger than this man and have a much, much bigger net worth. I mean my net worth is many, many, many times Mitt Romney.”

Then Trump discussed the strength and prowess of his … company:

How does Romney’s compare? Trick question. It doesn’t. See Romney, Trump explained, “is basically [a] small business guy, if you really think about it.” Romney “walked away with some money from a very good company that he didn’t create. He worked there. He didn’t create it.” Crowley pointed out that Romney did in fact create companies, but it was too late: Donald’s mind was already back with his research team in Hawaii.

At least one segment of the American population is worried that someone who thinks Bill Ayers wrote “Barry Soetero’s” memoir might be running for president: NBC executives. With the news that Trump has interviewed a couple people for a possible campaign manager position and reached out to evangelicals like Ralph Reed and Tony Perkins, NBC says Trump’s nomination means the network might not be able to broadcast The Apprentice without other candidates demanding equal airtime. Well, not that worried. One senior exec told the New York Times, ““This is Donald being Donald.”
