After the Post reported this morning that three NYPD squad cars escorted Diddy to a club appearance in New Jersey after his plan to travel by private helicopter fell through, Mayor Bloomberg ordered an investigation and declared, “The bottom line is the police department should treat everybody exactly the same. If you don’t get a police escort, P. Diddy shouldn’t.” [NYP]
