Over lunch in June 2007, Matthew Zames told John Hogan that Madoff’s returns “are speculated to be part of a Ponzi scheme.” Hogan later advised that the agenda of the meeting “never see the light of day.” Hogan is JPMorgan’s chief risk officer.
