World’s Oldest Man Dies at 114

Walter Breuning, recognized by the Guinness Book of World Records since 2009 as the world’s oldest man, passed away on Thursday evening at the ripe age of 114. According to friends, “Breuning’s mind was lucid to the end, and he told his caretakers he was unafraid of death.” A former railroad worker, Breuning moved to Great Falls, Montana, in 1918. He also died there. [Reuters]
