FBI Breaks the Internet During LulzSec Raid

The FBI seized web servers from a data facility in Reston, Virginia, on Tuesday, causing several websites and services, including Curbed, Eater, Instapaper, and Pinboard, to go offline. Agents confiscated three racks of servers from the hosting facility run by DigitalOne, which is based in Switzerland, as part of an investigation of Lulz Security group and any affiliated hackers.
