Obama Impersonator Asked to Leave Stage at Republican Leadership Conference

The organizers of this weekend’s Republican Leadership Conference wanted to provide some entertainment for their audience. And what better choice than an Obama impersonator? Making jokes about Obama to Republicans, is there a lower hanging comedic fruit? So having comedian Reggie Brown do an impression of Obama made all the sense in the world — until his racially tinged jokes started to make the crowd uncomfortable. After jokes equating Obama’s mother to a Kardashian sister and saying that the POTUS would end up looking like Fred Sanford, organizers cut Brown’s mike and asked him to leave the stage. Brown’s painfully unfunny jokes weren’t just limited to Obama, though, as he also made fun of Mitt Romney being a Mormon, said no one liked Newt Gingrich, and said Tim Pawlenty needed a spinal transplant.
