The Palin Movie Is Full of Filthy Language

A feature-length, pro–Sarah Palin film that’s been seen as part of her possible campaign strategy will get a nationwide release, but first it has to be made a little more family-friendly. The movie is full of violent war footage and heavy swearing, mostly from comedians making fun of Palin, included to show the bias she’s up against. (The war stuff is a metaphor conceived with a particularly, ah, light touch.) The director is shooting for a PG-13 rating but “hopes to release the film as it currently stands via pay-per-view and video to give Palin diehards fans the original,” according to Politico. Maybe Criterion will pick up the director’s cut, too.
