Earlier today, upon news that the president would be giving a speech on the economy, Mitt Romney couldn’t resist a chance to take a dig at Barack Obama’s fancy vacation plans.
It’s too little too late, but we appreciate the fact that he’s going to devote some time to it. Not just going to be on the bus tour, not just going to be vacationing in Martha’s Vineyard, but giving some thought to the American people.
Awkwardly, it turns out Romney is actually scheduled to be on the island for a fund-raiser during Obama’s vacation. Maybe it wasn’t a jab so much as a cloaked invite to play mini-golf and get some ice cream? Romney can be kinda weird sometimes, we hear.
