The “Queen of Rage” Michele Bachmann cover of Newsweek, which Tina Brown said conveyed the candidate’s “intensity,” had its share of critics, but Sarah Palin is not necessarily among them. Many of those calling the cover sexist likened it to the magazine’s use of Palin in jogging shorts, which she called “out-of-context,” “sexist,” and “oh-so-expected by now” at the time. But asked today by Megyn Kelly about the Bachmann photo, Palin went into “Ignore Michele” mode and transitioned awkwardly into an attack on Barack Obama, thereby stoking her own fake candidacy some more:
Things have been souring for some time between her and Bachmann, but when Palin is calling the mainstream media’s behavior “quite healthy,” it’s clear there’s a real problem.
