Like many people, Rachel Uchitel was left “speechless” by a Tuesday Post item that quoted her saying she was “almost happy” her fiancé died on 9/11, thus saving her from life as a fat Sands Point housewife. She’s since told the rival New York Daily News that she was “grossly misquoted” (though she didn’t explain exactly what the paper got wrong) and is considering legal action. “It’s evil and it’s awful and it’s disgusting,” she said. “The Post clearly wants people to hate me.” [NYDN]
