Stephen Goldsmith, who resigned as Mayor Bloomberg’s number two last month because, as we later learned, he was arrested in a domestic dispute, has backed out of his job at Columbia as well. His public management class was supposed to start Tuesday, but Goldsmith said “it wasn’t the right time” to teach. Maybe Bernie Madoff can fill in? [NYP]
