Some are calling it red (though it’s “probably” not a sign to repent, according to a base-covering jokester at the Times). One stalwart of the New York art department, who braved the miserable weather to take this photo, expressed the opinion that this is really more of a brown. Regardless, the Hudson River is not blue, or even a murky gray sludge shade, today. It has looked better, if we’re being honest. But you try dealing with the statewide runoff from a tropical storm and see if you look your best, okay?
