Jon Huntsman has never managed to gain much attention from Republican voters, but those outside the party seem to have a fondness for the moderate candidate, who served as Obama’s ambassador to China and does his best to make fun pop-culture references. So, when he brought his amiable (and possibly now vice-presidential) campaign to The Colbert Report on Monday, Stephen Colbert rewarded him for being a good sport. After having some fun with their mutual income level (the one percent) and Huntsman’s current polling numbers (the 2 percent), the host offered up his signature “bump,” which apparently includes some extra fat.
