Retired police sergeant Manual Lopez paid an $8,000 fine and will do 50 hours of community service for the 21 bogus phone calls he made to the former mayor, the NYPD commissioner, and other city officials, in which Lopez posed as Ray Kelly’s aide, a Citibank officer, a Central Park detective, and a New York Post editor. But a career in morning radio could be in his future.
