Center for American Progress Fellow and ThinkProgress blogger Matthew Yglesias will be taking over Slate’s Moneybox column, which was recently vacated by Annie Lowrey, who left for the New York Times. Last year, before making a counterintuitive point, Yglesias joked, “I probably should just save this idea for my Slate job application,” which is actually a pretty Slate-y way of getting a job at Slate.
