Domain-seller GoDaddy.com is profiting handsomely off the Occupy brand, moving 5,200 domain names that include the word “occupy” from September to early November, up from just 80 “occupy” sales during the entire year to that point, Businessweek reports. (OccupyGoDaddy.com is available.) All of the obvious cities and institutions are among the purchased domains, along with more abstract ideas, like Occupythis, Occupythat, and Occupymyass. The latter could prove to be the most profitable in terms of resale value, depending on the interest of a certain billion-dollar industry.
