Yesterday, New York City (as well as San Francisco, London, and several other cities) played host to hundreds if not thousands of inebriated Santas as part of the annual SantaCon mega-pub-crawl. (But the drinking is charitable, with participating bars donating to Toys for Tots.) The many Mr. Clauses, as well as the odd elf,  crowded subways and filled sidewalks from Brooklyn Bridge Park to the South Street Seaport, and even got as far north as Times Square and the New York Public Library. Yet, reports the Daily News, the “NYPD reported none of the Santas made their naughty list, with not a single arrest made.”
