On CBS This Morning today, First Lady Michelle Obama, who says she hasn’t read Jodi Kantor’s buzzy book The Obamas, still responded to the charges therein. Obama says that she and Rahm Emanuel have “never” exchanged cross words, contra Kantor’s reporting. She also implies that Kantor’s portrayal, or at least the way it’s been received and interpreted, is just the latest in a string of attempts to tag her as an “angry black woman.”
