The Senate has passed a bill by Charles Schumer that would require curbside buses like Megabus, Fung Wah, and Greyhound to post their safety grades, as inspired by the system for New York City restaurants. Personally, we know we’re playing fast and loose with our lives every time we get takeout from that place down the block or buy a $5 fare to Philly, so we’d almost rather not have it spelled out for us.
