The actor and writer, whose widely discussed This American Life report on the dismal working conditions at Apple supplier Foxconn’s Chinese factory turned out to be “not journalism,” has decided to remove some “questionable sections” from his one-man show at New York’s Public Theater. (The TAL broadcast was an excerpt of the monologue.) Daisey’s performance will now also include a prologue addressing the controversy surrounding the piece’s factual inaccuracies, which prompted TAL to air an episode-long retraction this week.
