Mark Lewis, the lawyer threatening to bring phone-hacking lawsuits stateside, has also brought a claim against Rupert Murdoch’s Times of London for illegally accessing the e-mail account of a formerly anonymous police blogger. “I sorely regret the intrusion,” a Times editor told the government’s Leveson inquiry earlier this year, although the paper previously denied the charges.
