The Best Part of Illinois State Lawmaker Mike Bost’s Amazing Tirade, in Slow Motion

There are a lot of fantastic moments in yesterday’s 90-second freak-out by Illinois state lawmaker Mike Bost, a Republican who is apparently not supportive of the power wielded by the Democratic Speaker of the House. We particularly like the line, “I feel like somebody trying to be released from Egypt — let my people go!” (The name you’re looking for is, we believe, Moses.) But our favorite part is right at the beginning, when Bost throws his papers in the air, tracks them as they fall to the ground, and then tries, unsuccessfully, to smack them.
