Last August, China investigated claims that fetuses and stillborn babies were being turned into powder and sold as pills on the black market, and found no proof that it was happening. But in the wake of reports that South Korea has intercepted 17,000 such pills since then, China’s Ministry of Seriously Messed-Up Shit — sorry, Ministry of Health — has announced that it “would investigate again.”
