BlackBerry Maker to Cut 5,000 Jobs, Continue Dying Slowly

Remember the BlackBerry? Remember in 2007 when you replaced yours with an iPhone? Well, a lot of people did that, and now, Research in Motion, which makes the atavistic e-mail gadget, is cutting 5,000 jobs and delaying the release of the BlackBerry 10. On the plus side, people who still have jobs get free ice cream!
