A week after the disgusting tirade of insults directed at New York bus monitor Karen Klein went mega-viral, the four kids responsible have been punished. The incident — thoroughly embarrassing for those who raised the little monsters, the upstate Greece Central School District, and most other sentient humans — has earned the students a one-year suspension from school and the bus. Instead, they’ll each complete 50 hours of community service and work on academics at the local “Reengagement Center,” where we imagine they’ll be whipped into shape by some combination of Dr. Phil and the Tiger Mother. Klein, meanwhile, will collect more than $667,000 in donations for not destroying the cruel twerps on the spot.
