You aren’t the only one sulking about Independence Day falling on Wednesday this year. Holiday spending is expected to decrease this year, and some in vacation-related businesses are worried that people will stay home because of the inconvenient timing. In fact, according to Visa, one in five Americans have no plans to celebrate the holiday at all. Please, at least throw a hot dog on the George Foreman grill and tune into the Boston Pops. You owe it to your country!
