Onetime Mitt Romney foe Rick Santorum called on Joe Biden to apologize for playing the race card at a Virginia speech last week where Biden made his “chains” remark, Politico reports. Santorum also offered an explanation on how Biden got to that point. It started with a simple “Y’all.” “Y’all? I mean, ‘y’all’ is ‘y’all,’ and I’ve been in groups like that,” Santorum said, “and you know, it’s very easy when you’re in a group of people, when you’re in the South or up in different areas of the country and different groups of people, you develop an affinity with the group you’re speaking in front of.”
