Clinton Aide Rethinks Plan to Vote Republican

Top Bill Clinton aide Doug Band is a mysterious man — he reportedly dated Naomi Campbell and escorted Monica Lewinsky to a White House ball — but apparently he isn’t all that crafty when it comes to voting. Politico reports that Band is denying the New Yorker’s suggestion (attributed to “two people with direct knowledge”) that he plans to vote for Mitt Romney as part of a plot to boost Hillary Clinton’s chances in 2016. Band said today, “There shouldn’t be any doubt that I will vote for Barack Obama,” adding that the idea that he’d vote against his boss’s party is “preposterous.”
