Lovable over-sharer and Newark mayor Cory Booker is down in Charlotte for the Democratic National Convention, where he’s not at full superhero strength. “#istandwithobama even with this bum ankle,” tweeted the rising political star today, along with this gnarly photo of his swollen leg. The Star-Ledger reports that Booker hurt himself while hopping out of an SUV en route to one of his four speeches on the day, but he “played through the pain.” When one of his followers suggested Booker use Clint Eastwood’s chair, the mayor responded the only appropriate way: “Lol!” And most important, the noted pedicure enthusiast’s toes look buffed.
