So, here’s a presidential poll all those poll denialists should embrace: The no-nonsense Rand Corporation’s sample error-free poll. The think tank has been tracking the same 3,500 people since July 11th and, as of Friday, the rolling poll had President Obama with a 7-point lead over Mitt Romney. Interestingly enough, participants were actually pretty evenly split between the two men up until September 7th, when Bill Clinton gave his DNC speech. Since then, Obama’s numbers have trended up, apparently bolstered by a newly-constituted Clinton proxy vote with nowhere else to go.
