Newman Isn’t Tired of Being Newman

Wherever Wayne Knight goes for the rest of his life — for example, the DNC this week, which he’s attending as part of a delegation from the Creative Coalition — people will address him as “Newman” and ask him to quote lines from Seinfeld. Some actors might consider this a curse. Not Knight. “I’ve gotten used to it, it’s okay,” he told me as he entered Time Warner Cable Arena this afternoon. However: “When I’m with my wife,” he added, “my wife is tired [of it].”
