Having an event held in your home secretly videotaped and used against your candidate might make some people wary, but private equity manager Marc Leder still believes in the political process (or at least the fund-raising side of it). The Washington Post reports that on Friday Leder, who hosted the event where Romney made his infamous “47 percent” remark, will co-host a Romney/Ryan fund-raiser in Boca Raton. Paul Ryan will attend the $2,500-per-person reception and $10,000 “VIP Photo Reception,” followed by a $25,000-a-plate dinner at the home of real estate investors Mike and Irene Millin. Servers and bartenders hired for the event should prepare for the most thorough pat down of their lives.
