Biden the Younger dismissed Republican criticisms of his father’s vigorous facial expressions during Thursday’s Vice-Presidential debate, telling ABC’s Jake Tapper that, “Any time the other side, Karl Rove or folks on the far right are going after my father for smiling too much, you know that’s a victory.” And, while he went on to encourage people to focus on the issues, the Delaware attorney general (who, as you can see from his photo, takes after Joe in the tooth department) also made sure to draw attention to Paul Ryan’s debate tics by referring to the “gallons of water that the congressman drank nervously on that stage.” We’re sure that Liza, Sam, and Charlie Ryan are hard at work on a comeback for that one.
