President Obama Doomed by Denver’s Altitude, Al Gore Suggests

Al Gore is just throwing it out there that maybe President Obama could barely manage to form a coherent sentence last night because he had only arrived in Denver that afternoon and had yet to acclimate to its famous mile-high altitude. “I don’t know,” Gore says, throwing up his hands, as if putting little stock in his own theory. But then some other dude was like, “Actually, yeah, that happened to me.” It’s not like this is the first time someone has suggested that Denver’s thin air could affect one’s performance, but whether or not it’s a possible explanation for Obama’s poor showing, it’s pretty much the lamest excuse imaginable.
