A Manhattan judge has granted the city an injunction against the Broadway Bomb, an annual skateboard race from 116th Street down to Wall Street planned for Saturday, because riders — 1,800 of whom RSVP-ed this year — have “engaged in reckless and dangerous behavior such as failing to stop for red lights, cutting off and weaving through moving vehicles.” Any similar race, or flash mob, is also frowned upon because the law does not understand what it’s like to feel the rush, man.
