A shocking hate crime occurred earlier this week in Louisiana when a 20-year-old African-American woman told police that three men in white hoods set her on fire and wrote racial slurs on her car. But police now say that the attack, which left the victim with burns covering over 60 percent of her body, was self-inflicted. So this is still a horrible story, but in a different way.
